Abstract:
To provide a safety switch for controlling an access to industrial machines or plants.SOLUTION: A safety switch includes: a switching device (2) that is adapted to be associated with a fixed part (F) of an access (B) to be controlled and includes switching means which can be connected to one or more control and/or service circuits of plants for controlling thereof; an actuator device (3) that is associated with a movable part (P) of the access (B) to interact with the switching means at opening/closing of the access for opening/closing one or more circuits and passes from a removed condition into an inserted condition; locking/unlocking means which is housed in the switching device (2), and adopted to lock the actuator device (3) onto the switching device (2) following mutual interaction thereof; and an electron control unit that includes a first communication channel and a second communication channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
