Abstract:
PURPOSE: To take preventive measures to avoid personal injury in case erroneous repair operation is carried out when plant machines are running by stopping the plant machines automatically when it is detected that the hatch or manhole is open.
CONSTITUTION: A safety system 1 comprises a repairing state detector 2 for detecting that the cover, hatch or manhole is open, the repairing state signal 3 or the operation stopping signal 7 from an operation switch 6, and the work stopping signal 9 outputted to an auxiliary machine 10 when either the repairing state signal 3 or the operation stopping signal 7 is determined to be true by an OR circuit 8.
