PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety of a thumbtack and increase holding power after insertion of the thumbtack into a surface to be fixed.SOLUTION: A thumbtack 1 comprises a cover part 2 that has an opening 4 larger than a pin 3 for reliably protecting a pin tip part, and a pin head part 6 that is integrated with a folded part 5 using a material having an elastic restoration force.
