Abstract:
To provide a safety valve testing device for measuring operating pressure of a safety valve by a simple work with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A safety valve testing device includes: a tension bolt 28 whose axial direction is coincident with respect to an end part 107a of a valve rod 107 projected from an upper surface of a safety valve 101; a pair of plates 20, 24 movably attached to cross the tension bolt 28; a loading spring 32 arranged between the pair of plates 20, 24 in parallel with the axial direction of the tension bolt 28; and a loading nut 40 to be screwed onto an opposite side of an end part 28a to which the valve rod 107 is attached in the tension bolt 28 and to be positioned on an outer side of the plate 24. The loading nut 40 is fastened to reduce an interval between the pair of plates 20, 24, so as to apply a force in the opposite direction of an energization direction of a safety valve spring 106 to the tension bolt 28. A valve body 108 of the safety valve 101 is opened against the force of the safety spring 106, so as to measure a length of the loading spring 32 at an operating point where the valve body 108 is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
