Title:
SAMPLE HOLDER AND MEASURING DEVICE USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3933298
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce regularly reflected light and to obtain a large amount of scattered reflected light by distributing a plurality of micro-grooves for holding a sample on a sample holding surface.
SOLUTION: Micro-grooves 116c for filling a sample 124 without diluting it as it is are uniformly distributed, for example, approximately in the shape of a mesh on a sample holding surface 116b. The micro-grooves 116c cause incident light from a sample irradiating part to be sufficiently scattered and reflected at the sample 124 to be scattered reflected light necessary for a detector. As the sample 124 is filled in a plurality of micro-grooves 116c uniformly distributed on the sample holding surface 116b of a sample holder 116, the peak and valley parts of the micro-grooves 116c play the same roles as a KBγ, etc., even if the sample 124 is not diluted with a KBγ and is filled as it is. Therefore, as it is possible to disperse the sample 124 appropriately and uniformly as in the case of being diluted with a KBγ. it is possible to reduce the occurrence of regularly reflected light causing ill effects to changes in spectrums and to obtain scattered reflected light sufficiently necessary for a detector.
