Abstract:
To provide a sampling method that enables speedy sampling.SOLUTION: A sampling method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: obtaining terrain information of a predetermined wide area by using a first sensor provided in a work machine; based on the terrain information of the wide area, selecting from the wide area a candidate area whose area is smaller than an area of the wide area, and based on the terrain information of the wide area, determining a movement route along which a leading end of an arm provided on the work machine reaches a preparation position above the candidate area without contact of the leading end of an arm with obstacles; after moving the leading end of the arm to the preparation position along the movement route, obtaining terrain information of a candidate area by using a second sensor provided at the leading end of the arm; based on the terrain information of the candidate area, specifying a sampling point and carrying out sampling at the specified sampling point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
