Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dispense with triggering directly in response to an input signal to be measured by processing an intermediate frequency signal restricted in band width while holding the transfer relation between the fundamental wave contained in an intermediate frequency signal and the frequency component in harmonic relation.
CONSTITUTION: An input signal is received by the input port 12 of a sampler 14 driven by a variable frequency sampling signal oscillator(SSO) 16 having a narrow band phase lock loop and an IF signal is sent to an analogue/digital converter(ADC) 20 allowing the IF signal to synchronize to the signal formed by the SSO to digitalize the same through a variable band width IF scaling and a filtering circuit 18. The digitalized signal is processed by a digital signal processing(DSP) circuit 22 responding to the IF signal digitalized by a control circuit 24 to be supplied to a main frame/display circuit 11 and, thereafter, the duplication of an input signal waveform is displayed.
