Abstract:
To provide a sandwich structure in which a part of the surface of the sandwich structure is machined to develop a sharp contour when forming a penetrating part, and which can be made thin while achieving high strength and high rigidity.SOLUTION: A sandwich structure, in which both sides of a core layer are sandwiched by skin layers composed of continuous fibers and a matrix resin (A), has a thin-walled section in at least a part of such one skin layer of the sandwich structure. A non-circular penetrating section in the thickness direction is provided in the thin-walled section. The porosity of the core layer in contact with the thin-walled section is smaller than that of the core layer in contact with a body section other than the thin-walled section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
