To provide a sanitary washing device which enables the user to easily carry out maintenance of an aroma generating means even when the user is seated on a toilet seat.

The sanitary washing device 10 is set on a Western-style toilet stool 1, and provided with a deodorizing air course 3 with a deodorizing fan, for sucking and discharging air in a bowl portion of the Western-style toilet bowl 1. An exhaust port 4 of the deodorizing air course 3 is opened at a location facing to an opening 10b formed in a side surface of an upper cover 10a, which is located on a side surface of a sanitary washing device 10 main body, and a louver 7 having air permeability is detachably mounted in an opening portion of the almost rectangular exhaust port 4. The louver 7 has an aperture 7a formed at a location close to a lower left corner when facing to the louver 7, and an aroma container 5 is detachably inserted into the aperture 7a. A housing section 5a of the aroma container 5 has detachably houses therein an impregnating pad 6 which is impregnated with liquid aroma.
