Title:
SANITIZER BLENDED WITH POLYMER COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2709044
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low toxic and biodegradable sanitizer for providing a polymer obtained by incorporating a specified sanitizer into a polymer obtained by the post polymerization of a monomer material consisting of a vinylester, an alkyl(meth)acrylate and/or ethylene and a post polymerization cross-linkable monomer in a solvent.
SOLUTION: This sanitizer blended with a polymer is used by forming a nonwoven fabric therefrom and as a wiping cloth, etc. As the sanitizer, a halogenated phenol derivative which is low toxic for humans and excellent in biodegradability in a waste water treating plant, especially 2,2'-dihydroxy-5,5'- dichlorodiphenylmethane is preferable. The polymer composition blended with the sanitizer is obtained by using a vinyl ester, alkyl(meth)acrylate and/or ethylene and at least one kind of a post polymerization cross-linkable monomer, dissolving the above sanitizer therein, and then performing an emulsion/a suspension polymerization of the above mixture in the presence of a radical. It is preferable to use a weight ratio of vinyl acetate: the alkylacrylate: the cross- linkable monomer = (30-80):(20-70):(5-10).
