To provide a satellite communication simulation unit for directly comparing the influence of characteristics specific to an inter-satellite communication network.
A satellite loading switch simulation unit(SAU) 1a being a part having the same functions and characteristics as a ground communication network in a satellite communication network model is displaced with a real ground communication network, and a user link simulation unit(ULU) 2, a feeder link simulation unit(ILU) 3, and inter-satellite link simulation unit(ILU) 4 being a part having functions or characteristics specific to the satellite communication network, and a part requiring a high speed processing are displaced with an exclusive simulation unit, and a base station simulation unit(BSU) 5 and a mobile terminal simulation unit(MSU) 6a being a part which does not require a high speed processing are displaced with a simulation unit constituted of a general computer (PC: Personal Computer). Thus, it is possible to constitute the satellite communication simulation system having a processing speed equivalent to the real time.
