PURPOSE: To improve the transmission efficiency economically by implementing broadcast type satellite picture communication through an error free line.

CONSTITUTION: A transmission station 20 receives picture information and control information outputted from its own station through a communication satellite 10 by a transmission reception means 11. A re-transmission control circuit 3 receives the received picture information and control information, applies error detection on a satellite line and gives a re-transmission command of a frame having an error for each frame to a high speed transmission control circuit 1. The high speed transmission control circuit 1 sends again a frame having an error based on the re-transmission command for plural number of times. A high speed reception control circuit 2 fetches a frame without an error in the frame sent again for plural number of times from the high speed transmission control circuit 1.
