Abstract:
To obtain the subject adhesive containing a linear polyester resin consisting essentially of specific constituting monomers as a main component, capable of adhering at a low temperature in short time and excellent in adhesivity to polycarbonate substrates.
This saturated polyester adhesive contains a linear polyester resin produced from dimethyl terephthalic acid/isophthalic acid/neopentyl glycol/ ethylene glycol as essential constituting monomers (preferably having a number- average mol.wt. of ≥5000) as a main component. A polycarbonate is most suitable as an adherend. Other additives may, if necessary, if necessary, be used in addition to the main component.
