To provide a band saw blade in which a defect that information cannot be acquired from an information unit on a surface hardly occurs without modifying a saw machine.SOLUTION: A band saw blade (1P) includes: a trunk part (11) forming a loop with a junction (M) by welding; a blade part (12) formed on one edge side of the trunk part (11); a first blast part (21) formed on at least one side surface of the trunk part (11); a second blast part (23) formed in a part of the first blast part (21) and visually recognized as a range of a surface state different from that of the first blast part (21); and an information unit (24) attached to the second blast part (23) and capable of acquiring information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
