PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffold for culturing monocytes, a monocyte culture method, and a monocyte culture vessel which are capable of preferably proliferating monocytes and efficiently recovering cultured monocytes, and a gel material applicable for the scaffold for culturing monocytes which is capable of preferably proliferating monocytes and efficiently recovering cultured monocytes.SOLUTION: A scaffold for culturing monocytes of the present invention is made of a material containing stimulation responsive gel which expands or contracts by stimulation of a predetermined substance, in which the stimulation responsive gel contains a water soluble vinyl monomer as a constituent monomer and a polymer including a phenylboronic acid structure.SELECTED DRAWING: None
