PURPOSE: To facilitate operation even when the angle of inclination of a roof changes on its midway and the roof has a curved surface.

CONSTITUTION: A scaffolding 1 for a roof has a plurality of ladders 11, 12, 13 arranged in series along the inclined direction of the roof on the roof and ladder connectors 14, 15 connecting the ladders 11, 12 at lower places and the ladders 12, 13 at upper places in a bendable manner. The ladder connectors 14, 15 have an upper connecting plate 31 disposed at the lower end section of the side wood of the ladders 12, 13 at the upper places, a lower connecting plate 32 arranged at the upper end section of the side wood 21 of the ladders 11, 12 at the lower places and a connecting pin 33 coupling both connecting plates 31, 32 so that one can be turned mutually to the other. A pair of left and right expansion leg sections 16 having clamps 67 at lower ends are fitted at the lower end section of the side wood 21 of the ladder 11 at the lowermost place.
