At the time of executing Y=(A/B)X+C by scale conversion after an A/D conversion, an analog reference quantity generator is connected to an input part and judging circuits 4A and 4B to respective output terminals of scale converting parts 3A and 3B, and the output terminals of the judging circuits 4A and 4B are connected to a personal computer PC. The initial values of the scales A, B and C are set to: A=100.00, B=2048 and C=-100.00. First, the value C is decided, so as to permit each scale conversion output to be 0 by inputting 0V, then the full-scale value is inputted and the value A is changed, so as to have each scale conversion output to be 100%±1%. At that time, a message of the prescribed judgment procedures is displayed on the personal computer PC, and the calculation results and the scales A, B and C are confirmed on the personal computer PC.
