Abstract:
To provide a scanner and a distance measuring device with which it is possible to accurately and reliably receive reflected light from an object while downsizing a light receiving element and perform accurate scanning and distance measurement, method and program for driving these devices and a recording medium.SOLUTION: The scanner comprises: a light source 21 for emitting primary light; a first deflection element 22 for direction-variably deflecting the primary light and projecting the deflected primary light as scanning light; a second deflection element 31 for direction-variably deflecting secondary light derived from scanning light by reflection upon an object and operating following the first deflection element and lagging behind the first deflection element; and a light receiving element 32 for receiving the secondary light having gone through the second deflection element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
