Abstract:
To provide a scanning antenna whose performance is suppressed from being lowered due to the temperature, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: In order to prevent the performance from deteriorating due to temperature, a liquid crystal panel 100A of a scanning antenna is provided with a TFT substrate 101, a slot substrate 201, a liquid crystal layer, and a seal portion 73 surrounding the liquid crystal layer, which is provided in a non-transmission/reception area R2. The liquid crystal panel further includes at least one tube 20A arranged in the liquid crystal layer of the non-transmission/reception region R2, and openings 22Aa and 22Ab at both ends of at least one tube 20A are arranged outside the seal portion 73.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
