Abstract:
To provide a scanning antenna capable of suppressing deterioration in antenna performance due to a temperature change.SOLUTION: A scanning antenna 1000A includes: a TFT substrate; a slot substrate; a liquid crystal layer provided between the TFT substrate and the slot substrate, and including at least one liquid region Rl and at least one vacuum region Ro; an outer peripheral seal part 73 for surrounding the liquid layer and bonding the TFT substrate and the slot substrate each other; and a reflection conductive board. The scanning antenna 1000A further includes a wall structure body 60 which is arranged between the TFT substrate and the slot substrate and arranged inside the outer peripheral seal part 73, is formed of a photosensitive resin, and is structured so that the liquid layer is separated into at least one liquid region Rl and at least one vacuum region Ro. In viewed from a normal direction of the slot substrate, the at least one vacuum region Ro is not overlapped with a plurality of patch electrodes and a plurality of slots 57, and has an area larger than an area of the at least one liquid region Rl.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
