PURPOSE: To prevent the titled device from vibration by fixing a driving wire for reciprocating a scanning system at two front and back points of a scanning direction and applying the driving force to the front side of the scanning system in both going and returning movement.

CONSTITUTION: When a common pulley 60 is rotated clockwise, respective pulleys 61a, 61b, 54a, 54b follow up the common pulley 60 and the 1st and 2nd optical systems 41, 50 are scanned and moved in the B direction. Simultaneously, return wires 71a, 71b are drawn out from the common pulley 60. When the common pulley 60 is rotated counterclockwise, the return wires 71a, 71b are wound around the common pulley 60 and the 1st and 2nd optical systems 41, 50 are returned. Simultaneously, scanning wires 70a, 70b are drawn out from the common pulley 60. Since the wires 70a, 70b are fixed on a slider 44 of the 1st optical system 41 at two front and back points of the scanning direction by pressing fittings 46a, 46b, the driving force is applied to the front side of the slider 44 in both the going and returning movement. Thus, the device can be prevented from vibration.
