Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a scanning-type light output device and a control method therefor capable of achieving higher quality output and long-term stability. The scanning-type light output device according to the present invention includes: a light-emitting element; an optical fiber (11) for guiding light output from the light-emitting element; at least two optical fiber driving mechanisms (12) connected to a position near the end of the optical fiber opposite the light-emitting element; a driving current control circuit (18) for the light-emitting element; a driving voltage control circuit (19) for the optical fiber driving mechanism; and a timing control circuit (17) for the light-emitting element and the optical fiber driving mechanisms. The driving current control circuit adjusts the light output intensity of the light-emitting element, the driving voltage control circuit (19) adjusts the magnitude of an electrical signal entering a plurality of the optical fiber driving mechanisms (12), and the timing control circuit (17) adjusts the timing at which the light-emitting element emits light and the phase difference between the electrical signals entering the optical fiber driving mechanism.
