Abstract:
To further sufficiently assure that a request from an execution entity is served according to a bandwidth request and a calling time request.
The system includes resources, execution entities adapted to issue requests for the resources, and tables or table segments containing slot assignments for each execution entity. A scheduler controller 314 is adapted to access the tables or table segments and to process requests from the execution entities according to the slot assignments. A scheduler 232 updates the slot assignments. In addition, an operating system 220 may negotiate with the execution entities to determine resource usage requirements. The tables or table segments may be updated based on the resource usage requirements.
