Abstract:
To solve the problems in using a pair of scissors, that force is applied to a distal joint by a thumb through-hole such that thumb ache occurs, and that deformation arises particularly in a thumb CM joint and causes pain.SOLUTION: There is provided a pair of scissors equipped with a thumb placement surface 4 on which a palm side part from a thumb distal joint to the thenar can be placed, and a handle part 5 for a thumb, that contacts a rear surface of a first joint of the thumb, in a right-angle direction of a cutting part on a thumb side, on an opposite side and an extension part thereof so as to be symmetrical relative to a support shaft of the cutting part on the thumb side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
