Title:
BARBER/HAIRDRESSER SCISSORS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007006999
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve a problem of conventional barber/hairdresser scissors having a pair of blade members, each with a blade part, a ring and a shaft part, pivotally attached to each other by a pivot to cross each other, wherein the scissors have to be passed from one hand to the other hand when a moving blade and a static blade are changed to each other because the blade part on the side where a thumb is inserted is moved as the moving blade and the blade part on the other side where the fourth finger, etc. is inserted is used as the static blade when cutting hair.

In the barber/hairdresser scissors, a pair of blade members 1 with blade parts 1a and 1a, rings 1b and 1b, and shaft parts 1c and 1c are pivotally attached to each other by the pivot 2 to cross each other. The barber/hairdresser scissors have a thumb insertion part 3, which is disposed on a side of the shaft part 1c between the pivot 2 and the ring 1b of one blade member 1 and which projects in such a way that the direction of inserting the thumb orthogonally crosses the direction of inserting fingers of the rings 1b and 1b and that the center 3a is located on the same flat plane as the shaft center A-A in the direction of thickness of the shaft parts 1c and 1c.
