To provide scissors which can continuously and smoothly conduct cutting activity without causing any catch at the tip ends of blades when opening blade sections.
Scissors can form concave and convex cutting surface on the cutting edge of a material to be cut when cutting the material to be cut by a pair of blades formed in a corrugated concavo-convex surface and being engaged with each other. The scissors are provided with stoppers which can stop the movement of the blades in a state where the tip ends of the pair of blades are engaged with each other to prevent the blades from getting over each other when the pair of such blades closes by approaching each other for cutting the material to be cut. The stoppers are disposed at respective tip ends of the pair of blades so that they are allowed to make impact contact with the blade section of the closing counterpart.
