To improve the usability of a pair of scissors by enabling a space between fingers and the blade tip to be easily adjusted in response to the size of the hand of a user or a using purpose and so forth without raising the cost of the pair of scissors by a simple structure.

In this pair of scissors, adjusting rings (11 and 12) of which the thicknesses change in the rotating direction are freely turnably installed in finger rings (9 and 10) which are formed on the handle sections (7 and 8) of the scissors (1). Also, an indicator (23) showing the turning positions of the adjusting rings (11 an 12) is installed. In addition, a turning stopping means (21) which stops the turning of the adjusting rings (11 and 12) at specified positions is installed between the adjusting rings (11 and 12) and the finger rings (9 and 10).
