To improve the cutting efficiency of scissors composed of a stationary blade and a movable blade for cutting an object by moving the movable blade rearward relative to the stationary blade, or changing the fulcrums of the stationary blade and movable blade, while eliminating clearance of the stationary blade and movable blade during the cutting process.

As the stationary blade and the movable blade are axially supported by helical gears and a spacer, the fulcrums of the stationary blade and movable blade can be previously set at separate positions from each other. The above problem can be solved by the scissors by utilizing the thrust load generated when the helical gears are rotated.
