Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scissors which can be maintained in a state that a pair of cutting parts are closed during non-use and has excellent operability for maintaining such a state.SOLUTION: Scissors 1 comprises: a base part 31 extending from a first grip part 12 to a second grip part 22 side; an engagement part 32 projecting from the second grip part to the first grip part; an operation arm 41 pivotally supported to the base part rotatably and extending to a first finger ring 13 side; an engaged arm 42 on whose tip an engaged part 44 to be engaged to the engagement part is formed, pivotally supported to the base part so as to rotate freely following the rotation of the operation arm, and formed into length that a pair of cutting parts 11, 12 close in a state that the engaged part is engaged to the engagement part; and a spring member biasing the rotation directions of the operation arm and the engaged arm in a state that the operation arm extends on a first finger hole 13h and the engaged part is engaged to the engagement part.
