PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut easily a string with the periphery of tip parts of scissors provided with a protective covering.SOLUTION: There is provided scissors 1 for cutting a string 2. The scissors 1 have a cutting part 13 having a planar first blade 131 and a planar second blade 132 for cutting the string 2, a first cover part 133 for covering the outside of the first blade 131, and a second cover part 134 for covering the outside of the second blade 132, and the inside of a tip part of the first blade 131 is engaged with the inside of a tip part of the second blade 132 in the state where the cutting part 13 is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
