Abstract:
To provide scissors capable of clearly cutting twist yarns or knitting yarns.SOLUTION: Scissors 1 are for cutting twist yarns or knitting yarns 90, in which a pair of scissors bodies crosses each other, is connected to each other by a connection shaft, and is openable/closable, the scissors bodies have blade bodies 10 that have blade parts 15 along inside, are flat plates and have high rigidity, and a handle part connected to the blade bodies 10, a blade edging angle θ of the blade parts 15 is 80-90 degrees, and the blade parts 15 can hold such a shape that an including angle of the crossing blade parts 15 is 15-30 degrees since blade lines of the blade parts 15 have curved shapes during opening/closing. The material of the twist yarns or knitting yarns 90 is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyethylene resin, a nylon resin, a polyester resin, a fluorocarbon resin, cotton, wool, silk and linen. The blade bodies 15 preferably have thicknesses of 2.0 mm or more, have Rockwell C scale hardness of 48-56, and are made of stainless.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
