Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scooter type motorcycle miniaturizing an engine unit. SOLUTION: A motorcycle body is mounted with the engine unit 13 composed of an engine body 29, a transmission part 30 and a differential part 31. A transmission unit 14 connected to the engine unit 13 is provided in a swingable manner, and a cylinder assembly 33 is disposed in an engine tunnel 28. The transmission part 30 is disposed below a rider's seat 20, while the center axis 35 of the engine body 29 extending in the proceeding direction of the motorcycle body is disposed being offset onto one side from a centerline 36 extending in the longitudinal direction of the motorcycle body. A speed changing device 74 is disposed so that a belt line 82 of a V-belt 81 is offset onto the opposite side to the center axis 35 of the engine body 29 from the center line 36 of the motorcycle body, and the differential part 81 is disposed being offset onto the opposite side to the speed changing device 74 with the centerline 86 of the motorcycle body held in between.
