Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a scrap conveying apparatus of a vibratory conveyance system wherein furnace waste gas is introduced and scrap is supplied to an arc furnace while being preheated, and wherein there is no tear of scrap being clogged, and high preheating efficiency is achieved without increasing the lateral width of the conveying apparatus and the length of the apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of waste gas suction holes are provided in a side plate 5 of a scrap conveying apparatus, and an assemblage pipe 7 for joining waste gas passing through the waste gas suction holes 6 and a waste gas duct 10 connected to the assemblage pipe are provided on the back of a conveying apparatus side plate.
