Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrap preheating device of a melting furnace capable of avoiding enlargement of the device without securing a long straight barrel part for flow measurement.SOLUTION: In a melting furnace including a preheating chamber 14 provided in a shaft 13 provided above a furnace body 11 and configured to preheat scraps Sc, to an exhaust gas inlet side and an exhaust gas outlet side of the preheating chamber 14, a lower stage gas flue 21 and an upper stage gas flue 22 are respectively connected; in the lower stage gas flue 21 and the upper stage gas flue 22, blowers 4A, 4B are respectively installed; and provided is a controller 6 configured to control a rotational frequency of each blower 4A, 4B so that an exhaust gas amount circulating through the preheating chamber 14 is properly retained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
