Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a draw bolt type installation and removal device capable of decreasing wear of a screw portion to prolong the life thereof, and canceling the problem of whirling and seizure of a work by decreasing the rotational torque which is required by the draw bolt.
CONSTITUTION: A draw bolt type installation and removal device 4 consists of a draw bolt 8 which is arranged to be capable of rotating and moving in the axial direction, and provided with a screw portion 8a on the front end thereof; a rotation drive mechanism 7 for screwing/unscrewing the screw portion 8 to/from a work W inserted into a holding hole 3a of a taper jig 3 by reciprocally rotating the draw bolt 8; and an advancing and retreating driving mechanism 6 for clamping the work W in close contact with the holding hole 3a by drawing in the draw bolt 8 when the screw portion 8a is screwed in the work and further releasing the close contact of the work so as to unclamp it when the screwing of the screw portion 8a is released.
