Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the risk of hurting an embryo as compared with the conventional knife for operation by allowing incision of muscularis in the cesarean section and hysteromyotomy while hindering the inadvertent incision of an egg membrane.
SOLUTION: A blade mounting rim 2 is extended on the blade side of a blade body 1 from the tip side to the base end side thereof while a back rim 3 thereof is extended on the back side of the blade body 1 opposite to the blade side thereof from the tip side to the base end side. A plurality of protruded parts 9 and a plurality of recessed parts 10 are formed alternately from the tip part 2a of the blade mounting rim 2 to the base end part 2b thereof and an edge 11 is formed on the protruded parts 9. A roundness 12 is formed on the blade mounting rim 2 from the tip part 2a to the tip part 3a of the back rim 3. The angle θ of the edge 11 between both blade mounting surfaces 8 of the protruded parts 9 is set to 10-50 while the radius R of the roundness at the pointed end 11a of the edge 11 is set to 0.2-20 μm. Likewise, the edge 11 may be formed in the recessed parts 10.
