PURPOSE: To resist comparatively high pressure generated by a running flow of an elastomer material at the starting time without forming excessive power pressure and lowering the usual output rate of an extruder by providing ribs, long and narrow, with interval between each of them for forming a plurality of slots, long and narrow, for passing through the elastomer material and disposing said supporting ribs together with the ribs on the upstream side of the material discharged through a screen.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of ribs 22 are provided in parallel with interval between a side section supporting component 5 and a side clamping plate 16. A screen 15 of metal mesh is also mounted on a rib-shaped top surface 50 covering over the ribs, and a facing edge is clamped to a recessed surface 12 of the side section supporting component 5 by recessed surfaces 19 and respective sections 18 of the supporting plate 16. A plurality of ribs 66 disposed in parallel with interval are formed integrally together with rings 63 and extend scress ring openings 68 to form a plurality of slots 69, long and narrow. The amount of back pressure applied to an elastomer material at the time of being disposed out of an extruder is reduced to a substantial extent by using the slots, long and narrow.
