Abstract:
To provide a screen controller capable of automatically controlling a display of a closed caption based upon a voice recognition result according to whether or not there is at least an open caption.SOLUTION: An open caption detection part detects a region of an open caption included in an input image frame. A voice recognition part performs recognition processing on an input voice to output a text as a recognition result. A subtitle generation part generates a closed caption subtitle based upon the text that the voice recognition part outputs. A subtitle display control part controls, according to whether or not the open caption detection part detects the region of the open caption, at least one of: an option whether or not to display the closed caption subtitle; and a display position of the closed caption subtitle when displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
