A screen 2 includes a screen substrate 20 which reflects projection light to perform display, and the screen substrate 20 is provided, on at least one end side in a vertical direction, a center position indication part (first hole part 24) explicitly indicating a center position in a lateral direction of the screen substrate 20. The screen device includes the screen 2 and a frame 3 holding the screen 2, and the frame 3 has a holding part 30 for holding the first hole part 24 of the screen 2. The screen manufacturing method includes a center position indication part formation step 103 of forming, on one end side of the screen substrate 20, the first hole part 24 explicitly indicating the center position in the lateral direction of the screen substrate 20.
