Title:
SCREEN DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007239251
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a screen device which can reduce a rise in indoor temperature, caused by thermal energy of infrared rays, by reducing the dose of infrared radiation into a room from between slats adjacent to each other in upper and lower positions.

In this screen device, a plurality of slats 2 in a horizontally-directed attitude are provided at vertical intervals, and a gap 3, which allows the passage of sunlight, is formed between the slats 2 adjacent to each other in the upper and lower positions. A top surface 2a of the slat 2 is formed in such a shape that direct solar radiation 6 is retroreflected, so that the dose of the direct solar radiation 6 into the room can be reduced. An undersurface 2b of the slat 2 is formed as an infrared-ray absorbing surface in such a shape that indirect solar radiation 7 is continuously reflected a plurality of times, and the dose of the infrared radiation included in the indirect solar radiation 7 into the room is reduced. Thus, the dose of the infrared radiation into the room can be reduced, and the rise of the indoor temperature, caused by thermal energy of the infrared rays, can be reduced.
