Abstract:
To provide a small-sized durable screen mechanism which can classify a classification object with good efficiency without drying and injecting water, even if the classification object is a wet matter having cohesiveness.SOLUTION: A screen mechanism 13 comprises plural intersection side ropes 14A1, 14A2 which are arranged in a direction crossing a transport direction of a classification object, and plural flow side ropes 14B which are so arranged as to cross the intersection side ropes 14A1, 14A2 in a plan view, and constitute a screening surface with a prescribed sieve opening between themselves and the intersection side ropes 14A1, 14A2. At least one of the intersection side ropes 14A1, 14A2 is located on an upper side of the flow side rope 14B so as to function as a weir which temporarily retains the classification objects.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
