Abstract:
To provide a screen printing apparatus that can prevent printing quality from deteriorating even if there are foreign matters such as dirt and dust adhering to an upper surface of a stencil in a storage body.SOLUTION: A screen printing apparatus, which prints paste on a substrate through a stencil 15, comprises a gas spraying part 19 as a stencil cleaner that cleans the stencil not yet soiled with the paste. The gas spraying part 19 has a tubular part 19p provided to extend in a lateral direction crossing a moving direction of the stencil 15, above a movement passage of the stencil 15 and is configured to spray gas to an upper surface of the stencil 15 through a gas blast hole provided on a lower surface of the tubular part 19P. The gas spraying part 19 performs cleaning by spraying gas to the upper surface of the stencil 15 in a period of time during which a stencil moving mechanism 21 draws out the stencil 15 from a storage body 72 and moves the stencil to a stencil installation position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
