PURPOSE: To facilitate the setting work of a master performed in parallel to plate discharging operation and plate making operation by providing a master cut storage part storing the cut end of the master cut at the time of the initial setting of the master by a cutting means in a master stock means and guiding the cut end of the master thereto.
CONSTITUTION: A screen printing machine has a plate making means 4 fed by a platen roller 14 while a master 11 is melted and perforated by a thermal head 13 and the made master is wound around a plate cylinder 1 through a master send-out means 8. After a printing image is formed on the printing paper P fed from a paper feeder 56, the printed paper is discharged to a paper discharge device 56. In this case, a box shaped master cut storage part 26 is arranged at the position on the side opposite to the guide plate 9 provided in the vicinity of the master send-out means 8 in a plate making means 4. When the master 11 is cut by the revolution of a movable blade 15 after the master is made, the cut end of the master 11 is carried upwardly by the suction force of a suction fan 25 to be guided to the master cut storage part 26.
