Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate irregularity in conforming/nonconforming determination to achieve correct inspection by automating screw inspection.
SOLUTION: A screw inspection device is mainly composed of a robot main body 2, a robot controller 30, and a sequence controller 50, and the robot controller 3 performs a process of determining engagement, a process of detecting rotation quantity of a bit shaft 14 after engagement is determined, and a process of detecting if torque exceeding a specified value is generated before reaching a designated rotation quantity or not. In the case of a through screw gauge inspection, therefore, it is determined as nonconforming when the torque is generated before reaching the designated rotation quantity, and as conforming when not, and in the case of a stop screw gauge inspection, it is determined as conforming when the torque is generated before reaching the designated rotation quantity, and as nonconforming when not.
