Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repeat tightening and loosening without applying a liquid-lubricant containing heavy metal powder even with the lapse of a long period from the manufacture to use, in a screw joint for a steel pipe constituted by a pin 1 and a box 2 respectively having a contact surface including a screw part 3 and a thread-less metal contact part 4.
SOLUTION: A contact surface in at least one member of a pin and a box is formed with a solid lubricating film consisting of (A) lubricating powder composed of one, two or more selected from molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide, graphite, and boron nitride, (B) polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) powder, and (C) binding agent, to be excellent in rust prevention, seizure resistance, and air-tightness. The content of each component in the film satisfies the following relational expressions: 0.3≤ content of lubricating powder/content of binding agent ≤9.0; and 0.01≤ content of PTFE powder/content of lubricating powder ≤0.30.
