Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prepare a screw part having high tensile strength and high interlayer peel strength by using interlace yarns whose monofilaments are being entangled each other by means of gas flow in molding a screw with a resin.

CONSTITUTION: 24 glass fiber rovings are passed through a resin layer where 100 parts epoxy resin, 80 parts methytetrahydrophthalic anhydride and 2 parts 2-ethyl-4-methylimidazole as a curing accelerator are mixed, and then pulled through a die whose inner diameter is 8.5mm heated at 120°C while it is being heated and cured to mold a round bar. Screw preparation is carried out on this round bar to prepare an ordinary tooth. A screw part wherein interlace yarns are homogeneously distributed from the screw center with no screw cut to the thread can be thereby obtained.
