Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a screw type heating device capable of being sufficiently enhanced in the drying capacity of a viscous material.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of hollow screw shafts 3, 4 rotated mutually in opposite directions are arranged in a casing 1 parallelly and horizontally and hollow screw blades 5, 6 are arranged on the hollow screw shafts in mutually meshed relationship so as to communicate with the.interiors of the hollow screw shafts and an evaporation chamber 17 is formed above the hollow screw blades within the casing 1. Crescent shaped notch parts 7, 8 are provided to the outer peripheral edges of the screw blades 5, 6 at places in a tangential direction and projections 10, 11 for hooking a viscous material are provided to the rear end parts in the rotary direction of the notch parts.
