Title:
SCROLL COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005048689
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a reliable scroll compressor not deteriorating refrigerating cycle efficiency in which quantity of lubricating oil of a turning bearing and a bearing does not decrease by increasing lubricating oil supplied to a low pressure space if pressure difference between the delivery pressure and the low pressure becomes large when lubricating oil is supplied to a compression mechanism part from a lubricating oil reservoir at a bottom of a hermetic vessel of a compressor by using a positive displacement pump, and branches to two routes, the one supplying lubricating oil to a low pressure space via a back pressure chamber using a restrictor and the other lubricating the turning bearing and the bearing.

A space for reserving lubricating oil lubricating the bearing is provided in an electric motor side of the bearing and the space for reserving lubricating oil is isolated from a space in a lower side of the bearing by a seal part. A passage communicating the space for reserving lubricating oil and the lower part space of the electric motor is provided. Lubricating oil supplied to the bearing from a lead groove of a drive shaft can be discharged to a lower part of the electric motor via a passage communicating to the lower part space of the electric motor without mixing with refrigerant gas by the above mentioned structure. Consequently, take-out of lubricating oil to refrigerating cycle can be reduced.
