The scroll compressor is provided with a scroll unit 28 in a housing 2. The scroll unit 28 includes a movable scroll 34 and a fixed scroll 36 forming a compression chamber 38 therebetween, and a delivery valve 60 delivering working fluid from the compression chamber 38 through a delivery hole 62 of the fixed scroll 36. The delivery valve 60 consists of a spherical elastic body and includes a valve element 64 opening and closing the delivery hole 62 and a block 66 regulating opening of the valve element.
