To provide a scroll compressor in which an oil return channel not requiring orifice tube is formed.
This scroll compressor is provided with a fixed scroll including an end plate and a scroll body erectly provided on the end plate, a movable scroll including an end plate and a scroll body forming a plurality of working spaces with meshing with the scroll body of the fixed scroll erectly provided on the end plate, a main shaft, a turning drive mechanism converting rotation of the main shaft to turning motion and transmitting the same to the movable scroll, a rotation prevention mechanism of the movable scroll, and a housing having a space storing the fixed scroll, the movable scroll, the turning drive mechanism and the rotation prevention mechanism formed therein. The end plate of the fixed scroll is fitted and fixed in the housing. An O-ring sealing the fitting part and dividing the inner space of the housing into a suction chamber and a delivery chamber is provided. An oil return channel from the delivery chamber to the suction chamber is formed by a first channel formed by the O-ring and an O-ring storage groove, a second channel establishing communication between the first channel and the delivery chamber, and a third channel establishing communication between the first channel and the suction chamber.
